ZTE to unveil its thinnest smartphone Nubia Z5 On December 21

Chinese mobile manufacturer, ZTE will introduce its flagship device, ZTE Nubia Z5 on December 21. The release date has been published on Nubia Z5’s Official Page at social networking site weibo.

The smartphone will be powered by Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. It is also claimed that this 7.6mm thin smartphone will be the thinnest smartphones with a Full HD touchscreen display in the market. It sports a 5-inch 1080p, 2 GB of RAM, a 13MP camera on the back side and a 2MP camera on the front side along with dual speakers and a unibody chasis. In order to run the device, it has a 2500mAh battery.

Earlier today we reported that ZTE is also planning a low-end phablet, the U887 which features a 5-inch 800 x 480 resolution display, powered by Mediatek 1.2Ghz MT6577 dual-core CPU, 512MB memory, 5MP primary rear camera sensor, and the front camera is a 3MP. Availability of this low cost phablet is not yet known.
