Gigabyte unveils two Windows 8 Tablets, S1082 and S1185 [CES 2013]

Several manufacturers including Sony, Acer, Alcatel, Huawei, LG and Samsung have announced their respective 2013 flagship devices at CES 2013 event in Las Vegas. Gigabyte, a Taiwan-based manufacturer is also set to show off its new devices. Today, Gigabyte has announced two new slate tablets at the CES event. The two tablets are the Gigabyte S1185 and S1082. Both the tablets are running Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system.

The S1185 is equipped with a 11.6-inch Full HD IPS display, powered by a 3rd generation Intel Core Processor with an 11.6-inch full HD IPS display. It has standard VGA & HDMI ports, magnetic keyboard, mouse buttons, Optical finger Navigation in PC mode and it will have two cameras.

Another slate tablet, S1082 is packed with Intel dual-core processor on board. It also has a keyboard, HDMI, LAN and VGA ports. An additional feature of the tablet is that it has a built-in 3.5G antenna(HSPA+) that can offer you to stay online at any time. There are two versions of this tablet also, one is with the 500GB HDD version which will be helpful to store your files, and another is for the SSD version that can give a speedy user experience.

There is no word when the tablets will be available in the market and what will be the official price tag of the tablets. We hope that we will get more info about the devices as the devices have been launched. If we find further details about the devices, we’ll let you know very soon.
