Huawei Ascend G510 Android 4.1 Phone Announced in the Czech Republic

After Huawei announced a couple of high-end powerful devices such as 5-inch Ascend D2 smartphone, 6.1-inch Ascend Mate phablet and its first Windows Phone 8 OS powered device, Ascend W1 at CES 2013 in Las Vegas, Huawei is back to unveil another Android powered smartphone, the Huawei Ascend G510. Today, the manufacturer has unveiled the device in the Czech Republic.

The Huawei Ascend G510 handset has a 4.5-inch IPS display with a WVGA resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, packed with a 1.2 GHz dual-core Mediatek MT6577 chip with a PowerVR SGX531 GPU, 512MB of RAM, a 5MP camera with Auto focus and LED flash on the back and a 0.3MP camera for video calling on the front of the device. The device will be powered by Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

The Huawei G510 measures 134 x 64.7×9.9 mm and weighs around 150g. The in-built storage of the device is 4GB but it can be expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD card. It is powered by a 1700mAh battery, which is low as of today’s standard.
