Samsung has just announced its upcoming digital camera, SH100, which is going to be demonstrated at this week’s CES. Wanna try a Wi-Fi enabled camera, which can wirelessly sync with smartphones? Well this one is having built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, letting you to share its 14.2 Megapixel snaps and 720p HD video clips instantly to your PCs, any social networking sites(such as Facebook, Picasa, YouTube, Photobucket and other online galleries) and to HDTVs through DLNA connection. Bear in mind that Samsung’s SH100 isn’t the first point-and-shoot to have Wi-Fi, but it makes better use of it than most, so that you can use Samsung’s Galaxy S Android phones as a wireless remote and geotagger for the camera. This camera can also be connected to the Galaxy S wirelessly to pinpoint exactly where you shot SH100that indistinct photo that is a “real time” remote viewfinder and trigger over Wi-Fi, though it’s not clear how much control you have from the phone beyond zoom and shutter. While pairing with Galaxy S, you can preview the frame on the smartphone’s display, and even allowing control of the 5x optical zoom. SH100 is also having some standard specifications include the 3-inch touch LCD screen, 1/2.33-inch sensor, f4.7 lens, face recognition and a number of other Smart Auto operations. The Samsung SH100 will go on sale in the general markets from this march, pricing at $199.99. Check out three more pictures after the break.
