HTC Sense 5 screenshots leaked, shows off a cleaner skin

HTC Sense 5 UI

We’ve seen pictures of HTC Sense 5 running on the HTC M7 and a first look of HTC’s custom UI running on HTC Droid DNA. Now a new series of screenshots have been spotted online with the custom UI on Droid DNA. These shots are much clearer and clean. These images may have been taken from an early firmware build of the HTC M7 which has been ported to the HTC Droid DNA.

The newly leaked screenshots have been put up by XDA Developer member mdeejay. These screenshots have been taken from HTC Droid DNA running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

The Sense 5 UI skin looks much simpler than HTC Sense 4+. The iconic 3D ring pull of Sense 4+ is now gone and the time, weather widgets feels clearer. The below screenshot shows the new apps screen.

You might have already known, HTC is preparing to introduce their device lineup at MWC 2013 which will be held in Barcelona, Spain next month along with the new Sense 5 UI. But as far as the leaks are concerned, someone is obviously experimenting with the new UI version from HTC on existing handsets. But this may not necessarily mean that the new UI is heading to  Droid DNA. We will be back with more info.
