Microsoft Surface Pro coming on Febrauty 9th

Heads up, folks, who have ben eagerly waiting to get their hands on the Windows 8 Pro OS powered tablets. The Redmond company has officially confirmed the availability of its Surface Windows 8 Pro tablet for the U.S. and Canada markets. MSFT says the Surface Pro will be made available for purchase on February 9th at all Microsoft retail stores and through online. Users can also grab it at Best Buy and Staples locations.

The Surface Pro tablet costs $899 with 64GB of storage for $899, while the 128GB edition will retail for $999. Both the 64GB and 128GB editions will come with a Surface pen stylus. Surface Pro tablet is a more executable laptop replacement than the the previously released Surface RT edition, which has the ability to run apps from the Windows Store only. But, the Suface Windows 8 Pro can run the Windows Store apps, as well as desktop apps.

As a reminder, Surface Pro packs VaporMg casing, featuring a 10.6-inch 1920×1080 touchscreen, running with Windows 8 Pro OS on an Intel Core i5 processor, and there’s a couple of cameras on both sides. It will also have a USB 3.0 port and a microSDXC card slot for memory expansion support, and it is rumored to last up to 4 to 5 hours on a single charge.

Microsoft has also announced that the Surface RT tablet will be will go up for sale in 13 additional global markets and the list includes Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, and Spain. Users can pick the Surface RT for $599, select the keyboard cover of their choosing. In addition to the new Surface availability details, the company also announced some new laser-etched limited edition Touch Covers with special printing design for $129.99, and a Surface edition of its Wedge Touch Mouse, priced at 69.95.
