Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Motorola RAZR i available in France

In September, last year Motorola announced the first Android powered device, Motorola RAZR i with Intel Chip inside which has all the salient mid-range specifications and decent hardware under the hood. But when the device was introduced, it was powered by Google’s Android 4.0.14 Ice Cream Sandwich. Now, Motorola has started rolling out Jelly Bean update for the Motorola RAZR i.

The Motorola RAZR i is receiving Android 4.1.2 update in France. The information regarding the Jelly Bean update came from XDA Developers Forum. The update is now available Over The Air and the update is 300MB in size. After updating, your device will get benefit from improved performance through Project Butter. In addition, RAZR i owners will be getting the new Google search app with Google Now, and with some enhancements.

The RAZR i is packed with Intel Atom single-core processor clocked at 2GHz with hyper-threading support, sporting an edge-to-edge Super AMOLED Advanced 4.3-inch display with 540 X 960 pixels of resolution, a 1GB RAM, an 8 megapixel camera, a microSD slot which can expand memory up to 32 GB and more.

There’s no word when the Jelly Bean update for the device will be available in other regions as well. However, you can expect the update will be rolling out in other regions very soon.
