Samsung Galaxy Note II gets Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OTA update in Canada

Today, Samsung has stated rolling out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for its Galaxy Note II phablet in Canada. Now, the update will be available through your Samsung KIES or OTA.

Two week ago, the official Firmware update announcement page of Samsung Thailand confirmed that  Android 4.1.2 with Multi Window for Galaxy Note II will be available very soon along with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.

After updating, you will get new additions in Notification Toggles, ink effect on Lock screen, group cast application, input in Samsung Keyboard and more. In addition, Notification Panel can be customized, and Brightness Slider in Notification Panel and Multi-View can be disabled. Recently, Samsung Ukraine’s official website showed that Samsung is planning to roll out Jelly Bean and Ice Cream Sandwich updates for their selective smartphones and tablets including Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 very soon.
