Rumored Nokia 41MP EOS Phone Could be named as Lumia 1000

A few hours ago, we reported about the upcoming Nokia Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 phones, which were showed up at the website of the Indonesian mobile regulator POSTEL. On the other side, we’ve been hearing that the Finnish mobile maker is prepping to introduce its 41-megapixel sensor to its Lumia phones line-up. The 41MP PureView sensor was first demonstrated at last year’s MWC 2011 expo for the Symbian phone, Nokia 808.

The rumored 41-megapixel Lumia windows phone is currently being referred as EOS. Recently, a yet to be announced Nokia Lumia 1000 phone was spotted on a registration webpage at China Mobile, which is the largest mobile operator in China. Latest reports are suggesting that the rumored Nokia 41MP EOS phone could be launched as Nokia Lumia 1000 by the Finnish company very soon. According to rumors, Nokia EOS is expected to carry 41MP with optical image stabilization (OIS), which is the same technology that was introduced for Lumia 920. It is also expected to shot images at 5 megapixel resolution using oversampling, just like the 808 PureView Symbian phone did.

Some reliable rumors have that the rumored Nokia 41MP EOS Lumia phone will have a 4.3″ Curved Glass HD touchscreen, 1080p full HD video recording and Rich Recording capability, and on inside, you might find a dual-core processor accompanied by André no 320 GPU.

If you are wondering, ‘EOS’ is the name of a Greek goddess of the dawn. Anyhow, the 41-megapixel Lumia phone aka EOS (oh yeah, it could be called Lumia 1000) is expected to be unveiled at this month’s MWC trade show in Barcelona at Nokia’s booth, and it could hit the U.S. markets this summer. There’s also another possibility that Nokia will unveil a separate and new EOS line of Lumia Windows Phone products.
