UAProf confirms “HTC One” as the official name of HTC M7

Recently, we reported that the HTC M7 handset could simply be named “HTC One” when it goes official. But it wasn’t confirmed whether the branding name will be the official name of the device or not. Few hours ago, from a leaked EXIF data of a picture, it was confirmed that the HTC One will be the actual product name of the handset. It was not the only evidence that we have found, from User Agent Profile also, we have come to know that “HTC One” will be the official name of HTC’s upcoming Android flagship handset, which is currently known as HTC M7.

You might have already known that HTC already started sending out invitation for a pre-MWC 2013 press conference on Friday 19 and in that event, the HTC One (M7) is expected to be showcased. Besides the HTC One, HTC is rumored to announce a couple of other Android phones – M4 and G2 either on February 19 or at MWC event. The below snapshot taken from the UAProf has confirmed that the model number is actually “HTC One”.

The HTC M7 is rumored to be shipped with Android 4.1 Jelly bean OS with a quad-core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon processor, 13MP primary camera with 2GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage, Beats Audio enhancements, LTE support up to 42Mbps, new 802.11 ac wireless standard, and a 2300mAh battery.

The handset is expected to pack with the upcoming HTC Sense 5 UI custom enhancements and Ultrapixel sensor technology. Coming to the pricing info, HTC One is likely to be released in France on March 8 with a price tag of €649.99 which is around $879. If the device is available, Black and White/Silver will be the color variants.
