ARCHOS has officially introduced the new series of Android OS based Platinum tablets – Archos 80 Platinum, 97 Platinum HD and 116 Platinum HD. Last month, the French manufacture has unveiled the Titnium line of tablets. The newly launched Platinum tablet are having some high-end specifications. and the 8-inch Platinum model starts at $199.

The manufacturer has confirmed that the Archos 80 Platinum tablet will start hitting the stores in February for $199 in the US, £179 in the UK, and €199 in Europe. The Archos 97 Platinum HD tablet will retail for $299 in the US, £249 in the UK, and €269 in Europe, and will be available to purchase sometime in February. Archos 116 Platinum will be made available in April, priced at $349 in the U.S., £299 in UK, and €349 in Continental Europe.
