HTC DROID DNA Update 2.04.605.2

Shortly after publishing the documents for the new firmware update on its official website, Verizon Wireless has started rolling out the new update for the HTC Droid DNA today. Yes, the device’s build number is being bumped up to 2.04.605.2 via an over-the-air upgrade. You won’t get any drastic changes with this update, but it is a nice maintenance updates that you shouldn’t give a miss. This upgrade (weighs 104MB of size) promises to improve Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, and boost the handset’s stability for better performance. It will also improve audio quality over wired headsets and earpieces.

Of course, you might be disappointed that the update isn’t for the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean build (which is currently rolling out for Nexus 10, N7, N4, Galaxy Nexuses) , but one can only imagine that HTC and Verizon will be busy trying to make sure your devices have the newest updates. So, Droid DNA owners will be running 4.1 for the foreseeable future.
