Samsung Galaxy S IV to pack Snapdragon 600 SoC, FHD SoLux Display

Few weeks ago, we already reported that the much awaited handset Galaxy S IV will be powered by a Qualcomm processor which is expected to be clocked at 1.9 GHz.

Today, SamMobile has reported that  the South Korean mobile manufacturer will use the reported Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor which is clocked at 1.9 GHz to run the Galaxy S IV. The clock speed of the device is 0.2GHz higher than the recently announced the HTC One.

You can note that from a leaked Nenamark results, it was already claimed to be packed with Qualcomm SoC. Another new development is that the Galaxy S IV will sport a 4.99-inch Full-HD SoLux Display instead of thew usual AMOLED display technology. There is no further information whether the new display will be LED or LCD based.

The Galaxy S IV is also rumored to feature the fastest internet connection with 5G Wi-Fi technology and a wireless charging module which will be compatible with any standard Qi charger. In addition to the above features, the handset may be packed with the upcoming hexagon and diamond shaped pixel layout in order to become one of the highest resolution displays when compared to other rival products. The smartphone is expected to be packed with a 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 13MP Rear-facing camera and more.

Samsung is already preparing for mass production of the device and the device will be available by end of March. The device will be unveiled on March 14 in New York City.
