LG Nexus 4 now in Google Play Store Japan, ships within 1-2 weeks

LG Nexus 4

Last week, we already confirmed that the LG Nexus 4 will be heading to Japan very soon since the device was approved by the JATE which gives license for launching any mobile device in the region. Well, it is true. In Japan, the device is now available  for sale through Google Play Store. The 8GB and 16GB model of the device are available for 27,977 yen ($249) and 32,656 yen ($349) respectively. The devices will be shipped within 1-2 weeks.

In addition to the device, wireless charger and bumper are also up for pre-order. Unluckily, the bumper has gone out of stock as of now.

The device is already available in the US, UK, Spain, France, Germany, Australia, and Canada through the Google Play Store.

The Google Nexus 4 sports a 4.7-inch LCD screen (1280 x 768 pixels), powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with quad-core processor at 1.5GHz, 2GB RAM, an 8 megapixel main camera with LED flash to record 1080p HD videos, 1.2MP front-facing camera for forwarding video chats, 8GB on-board storage, NFC capability, and more.

It is notable that just after Google launched the device officially on October 30 last year, the device went out of stock and Google didn’t offer the device even on the busiest days, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. But starting this year, the Nexus 4 stock became abundandt, thanks to LG’s effort to keep up with the unprecidented demand.
