Dell Streak 7 announced officially; T-Mobile’s First 4G Tablet

It has been a galore of smartphones and tablets at this year’s CES 2011, and T-Mobile won’t be sitting behind back. This year, T-Mobile isn’t leaving any stone to entertain us. The company has just outed its Froyo powered tablet PC, Dell Streak 7 at the Consumer Electronics Show. It is the first 4G tablet for T-Mobile networks.

Dell’s Streak 7 features Android 2.2 Froyo, while all other upcoming tablets are having Honeycomb. But we’ve some good news that it will be packed in 7-inch Gorilla Glass touchscreen and will have Nvidia’s Tegra 2 dual core chipset, which lets full HD 1080p video playback support and gives super fast performance for the tablet and also having Adobe Flash Player 10.1 compatibility. Like the old Dell Streak, Froyo will be flavoured with Dell’s own Stage UI and this tablet will come with carrier’s HSPA+ 4G capability and it will be the first device to launch out this year among other upcoming 25 HSPA+ 4G devices.

The Streak 7 is having dual cameras with LED flash. And yes, T-Mobile has also announced that it will upgrade its current 4G network, which is actually boasting 21 Mbps speeds currently. So we can assume that Dell Streak 7 will get theoretical speeds of 42 Mbps. So guys Dell Streak 7 will definitely get many hands on by people.
