A new leak has hit the internet with the first alleged picture of the Nokia Lumia 950 prototype handset. This leak is hinting us that it is possible for Nokia to go for major changes in design elements for the future Lumia phones as opposed to the current Lumia design. The folks over WPCentral have received the above image along with some rumored technical specification details.

The specification listed by the source are totally unofficial, but most of them could become true. According to the source, the Nokia Lumia 950 will sport:

# An AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1280 by 769 pixels
# Nokia has opted for PureMotion HD technology, the similar tech found on the Lumia 920
# 2GB of RAM (could be the first Nokia phone to feature such amount of RAM)
# Rear-facing camera will have Xenon flash, lossless zoom, oversampling, video stabilization, and superb low-light performance
# Ships with Windows Phone 8 OS

The source has also mentioned that Lumia 950 will pack a larger sensor than its competitors. There’s no word processor type and speed, confirmation on microSD card slot, and other hardware specs of the phone. Hopefully, all those features would be revealed out in the coming months.

You can also note in the leaked image that its design is similar to a 3D smartphone model photographed from a screen. Anyhow, what’s showing off in the above image might not differ much from Lumia 950 when it launches officially. Unfortunately, the leak doesn’t show off any back side images of this phone. There’s no word yet on pricing or when the device will be launched. Stay tuned for more details on the matter.
