Oppo is preparing to introduce a new smartphone called the Oppo R809T which will become the world’s thinnest smartphone. The device measures only 6.13mm or 0.24 inches in thickness. The mobile manufacturer will announce the smartphone on April 26.

Further specification of the device is not revealed yet. Since the smartphone will be debuted on April 26, we will come to know the remarkable features of the Oppo R809T on the same day.
Since the processor of the smartphone will be the low cost quad-core MediaTek MT6589, the device will be different from other rivals’ smartphones packed with quad-core processors from Qualcomm, Nvidia and others, because it combines an ARM CPU, a PowerVR Series 5XT GPU and a wireless modem chip onboard.
Different MediaTek MT6589 powered smartphones from several manufacturers such as Sony, Huawei, Lenovo and ZTE are already expected to be announced sometime in April.
The pricing info of the device is not official yet but it is rumored to be priced at 2500 Yuan (around $403).
