Specs Leak: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0″ and 10.1″ Variants, Coming this June?

The leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 were already spotted online and UAProfs also confirmed that 7-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch will be the variants of the upcoming Galaxy Tab 3.

But the latest report has claimed that Samsung will be introducing the tablet in two variants only. One will be packed with an 8.0 inch display and another with a 10.1-inch display.

Coming to the specs of the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, it will be powered by Google’s Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system and a dual core processor clocked at 1.5GHz will be the processor of the upcoming device. It will sport 1GB of RAM, 3MP rear-facing camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 16GB of internal storage, and a microSD slot to expand the storage.

Connectivity features of the device are Wi-Fi, DLNA, Wi-Fi-Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB and more. It measures 256.7 × 175.3 × 8.7 mm in dimension and weighs around 533g. The most alluring feature of the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will probably be the powerful 7000mAh battery to power the device.

Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 variant will also be running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The device with an 8.0-inch display will have 1280×800 pixels, 3-megapixel rear-facing and 1.3megapixel front-facing cameras. It features 2GB of RAM, a microSD slot will be offered for additional storage but there is no info what will be the built-in internal storage of the device. It supports Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB, and a 4500mAh battery. The device measuring 112.1×209.6×6.95 mm in dimension weighs 330g.

Since these devices aren’t officially announced yet, take the aforementioned specs of the upcoming devices with a grain of salt. The Galaxy Tab 3 devices were already claimed to be unveiled at the IFA event which will be held from 6 to 11 September in Berlin, Germany. But, according to the newly leaked report, it could be announced in June or July.

It can also be noted that a slightly updated version of the Galaxy Tab 3 called the Tab 3 Plus is also rumored to be unveiled at the IFA event.
