Event tough Motorola is completely focusing on their next-gen Android phones, which would be fantastic (according to Moto design chief), that doesn’t mean they will stop continuing to offer support for their recent Android additions. Verizon has recently approved a new software update for its Motorola Droid RAZR M handset. This is just a maintenance update that weighs in at 80MB in size and carrying a handful of bug fixes and improvements for the device such as improved Wi-Fi, improved voice volume, improved video streaming pixelation, and more.

The update bumps the software version of the of the Droid RAZR M up to v98.15.66.XT907. Here is the full changelog of the new firmware update is as follows:

# Improved Wi-Fi connectivity

# Voice volume has been improved at set level

# Camera improvements in touch-to-focus, notifications and low light performance

# In-call audio is routed to ear piece while connected to headset has been improved

# Video streaming pixelation has been improved

# Support for Mobile Device Management has been improved

# Media sync with Back Up Assistant Plus has been improved

# Visual Voicemail connectivity improvements have been made

Verizon has noted that this update is being rolled out in over-the-air (OTA) and and should reach all users in the coming days. If you can’t wait for notifications to hit your device, you can grab your Droid RAZR M and click your way into the phone’s Settings menu and hit Update Firmware to see if the new maintenance software is waiting for you.
