Samsung has just officially announced its another smartphone, Samsung S5260 Star II, which is a successor to the Star phone that sold in large units. The latest Samsung GT-S5260 Star II smartphone features a 3.0-inch WQVGA touchscreen display with 240×400 pixels of resolution and having some enhanced social networking capabilities.
Samsung Star II flavoured with Samsung TouchWiz 3.0 and having a 3.2 Megapixels camera with out flash, Wi-Fi connectivity and the handset lets the users to customize the interface by adding a number of widgets to the homescreen.
The Samsung S5260 Star II features support for Samsung’s Social Hub, which enables contact integration between the phone and the users’ social networks, allowing them to interact across social media platforms from their phone. Furthermore, Samsung Star II is preloaded with the multi-IM 2.0 feature supporting to login into Facebook chat, AIM, G-Talk, and MSN.
the Samsung S5260 Star II also having DNSe support, QuickType T9 Trace Keyboard , micro-SD card slot for 16GB memory expansion and music recognition feature, Bluetooth, and a Li-Ion 1000mAh battery.
Price & Availability
The Samsung Star II will be available from February in Germany, followed by other European countries, South America, India, CIS(Commonwealth of Independent States) and Middle East. Price details haven’t been announced officially yet. More info as we get it.
