Verizon Wireless Launches ZTE Salute F350

Verizon Wireless just launched its first ZTE handset Salute F350 from China based manufacturer ZTE  into the markets. The Salute F350 is a Candy bar shaped vertical slider-phone and it is VZ Navigator capable.

The Salute F350 features large 1.3MP camera(240×320 pixels), GPS, QVGA display, Standard 12 button, Bluetooth, media center support, speaker phone and voice commands.

This is not a GSM phone, it will not work on any GSM network worldwide.

ZTE Salute F350 has two useful applications Media Center and Social Beat. Social Beat app offers a single point for accessing social networking sites Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, plus more than 50 news, sports and entertainment feeds. Media Center app provides access to downloadable games, ringtones, wallpapers, location-based services and more. It has one application named VZ Navigator and this app has capabilities for customers to receive audible turn-by-turn directions to millions of points of interest and share the directions with others.

The ZTE Salute’s battery can handle up to four hours of talk time and up to 220 hours of standby time.

The ZTE Salute F350 is available now at www.verizonwireless.com and in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores for $19.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. The ZTE Salute is available for free from Wirefly.com on a new two-year contract with Verizon Wireless.
