We’ve seen an OTA update for Nexus S for fixing SMS bugging problem in Android platform. Nexus One has also getting an over-the-air update Android 2.2.2 and the build is FRG83G.(at present Nexus One is having Android 2.21 with FRG83D build). According to sources, Google has confirmed that it is a tiny update and it will be having some bug fixes and SMS bug fixer is the main determination of the latest update. Even the update information is showing handsets as “This system update from Google contains important bug fixes.”
So Google Nexus One users should start checking their handsets for OTA Android 2.2.2 update which is weighing 558kb of size and users need to navigate the options – “Home” > “Menu” > “Settings” > “About phone” > “System Updates” on their handsets. The update will be pushed out out slowly in waves to handset owners over a period of a few weeks. So don’t loose your hopes if it doesn’t hit your handset right away
