During the last month’s Consumer Electronics show, Asus has announced four new tablet devices — Eee Pad MeMo, Eee Pad Transformer, Eee Pad Slider and Eee Slate EP121. Amazon has already started offering the pre-order for the Eee Pad Slate EP121 since last month(January 5th). Good news is that the Slate is now coming to stores for the consumers. The Asus Eee Slate EP121 is a 12-incher tablet running on the Windows 7 operating system on a dual-core Intel i5 processor.
The 12-incher Eee Slate is having 1280 x 800 pixel IPS capacitive touchscreen display, and the Windows 7 edition is Home Premium 64-bit and is available with 2GB to 4GB of RAM of DDR3. It is also having 2 Megapixels front facing camera, up to 4GB RAM, two USB ports, HDMI port, Wi-Fi 802.11n and it comes with a Wacom digitizer pen.
