Meet the world’s thinnest smartphone (according to LG), LG Optimus Black, which was the first one, unveiled at last month’s Consumers Electronics Show. T-Mobile UK has listed this handset in it’s ‘Coming soon’ page. Users can now show their interest in the phone and can signup for updates.
LG Optimus Black is thin and full of Android goodness, it is the first phone to feature LG’s 700 nit Nova display, measuring 4-inch for viewing direct sunlight and a 2MP front-facing camera.
LG Optimus Black is Android Froyo running phone boasting UI gestures, Wi-Fi Direct, 3G, Wi-Fi, 5MP camera with LED flash and HD video recording, HDMI port, micro-SD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, HSPA connectivity, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack The handset is having Gingerbread update capability and it comes with a 1500mAh battery.

T-Mobile seems to be the first that will sell the Optimus Black to British customers. Amazon Germany has already offering pre-orders for LG Optimus Black €499. The LG Optimus 2x is expected to be released in March
