We’ve been hearing that Facebook phone will be coming and INQ is manufacturing it somewhere. But, there is none actually. INQ has officially launched two new smartphones, INQ Cloud Touch and INQ Cloud Q. They are not the Facebook phones, but they are the phones with a whole lot of Facebook. We’ve already reported about Cloud Touch’s listing previously.
The two Facebook centric smartphones, Cloud Touch and Cloud Q are running with Android OS. INQ Cloud Q is having a full QWERTY keypad and having the same specs as the Cloud Touch.
INQ Cloud Touch is running with the Android 2.2 Froyo and INQ is planning to get Android 2.3 on the device further down the road. Sporting a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 5 megapixel autofocus camera, all manner of mail support including Exchange, Facebook support, and ‘Spotify’ onboard as the de facto music app with a dedicated key, offering he users unlimited music. The Cloud’s home screens feature a trove of Facebook options ranging from a visual news feed with images and video to one-button access to features like Facebook Chat and location-based check-ins.
Cloud Touch has equipped with a Qualcomm processor, clocked at 600MHz speed, tri-band HSPA connectivity. The Cloud Touch is having 4GB micro-SD card to make up for simple 4MB internal memory.We don’t have the images of the INQ Cloud Q at present.
Price & Availability
The Cloud Touch is set to launch in April at Carphone Warehouse and BestBuy in the UK with the Cloud Q landing sometime in Q3. Launching details and pricing details, America availability don’t know yet.
