Folks from Reuters has reported that Motorola chief executive Sanjay Jha has officially confirmed the price of the Motorola Xoom. The 32GB Honeycomb tablet Motorola Xoom with 3G integration for Verizon Wireless will cost you $799.
Jha also confirmed that Wi-Fi only Motorola Xoom version will be shelling out the $600 from your pockets. The Xoom will have the option to connect to Verizon’s 4G LTE data network later this year at sometime, for a monthly fee, signing a service deal with the Verizon. We’ve already reported about the pre-sales and Best Buy might be offering pre-orders for the Motorola Xoom from tomorrow, pricing at $1199.99. Final release has scheduled to the next week’s Thursday, February 24th.
Motorola Xoom is the first ever tablet from the Motorola company and it is the first ever Honeycomb tablet to release in the markets now. Android 3.0 honeycomb powered Motorola XOOM Tablet with Barometer support and it is sporting 10.1-inch HD touch display, Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor, HDMI & USB ports, also features a 5MP camera with LED flash light, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G/LTE connectivity, Android Market, and so on.
