Samsung Galaxy S 4G hits T-mobile stores across the U.S. yesterday, which is capable of getting download speeds of up to 21Mbps through the carrier’s HSPA+ 4G network and it becomes the ‘fastest smartphone’ of T-Mobile. The handset will cost you $199 on a 2-year agreement after a $50 mail-in-rebate. $499.99 is the phone’s full retail price of course. Samsung Galaxy S 4G previously known as Samsung Vibrant 4G.

Online giant retailer Amazon is offering the Samsung Galaxy S 4G at $129.99 only for the new customers. Existed T-Mobile customers need to shell out $149.99 for the device.

All the above different pricing options from T-Mobile and Amazon gets you a beautiful 4-inch Super-AMOLED display, a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video shooting capability, a front-facing VGA camera and support for Wi-Fi calls, 1GB of internal storage 16GB micro-SD card included and support for 32GB memory expansion, ‘Inception’ movie pre-installed, Android Market, full host of T-Mobile and Google services. Galaxy S 4G runs with out-dated Android 2.2 Froyo OS, and there’s no telling at this point when it might get an update to Gingerbread.
