We’ve been talking about many new Android powered smartphones like HTC Thunderbolt, Xperia Arc, LG Optimus 2X, Motorola Atrix, Samsung Galaxy S II, and etc. But these days, It seems we’ve forgotten about the first Gingerbread handset, the second Google phone, the Pure Google phone, Nexus S.

Best Buy has now trimmed down the price of the Google Nexus S (T-Mobile connected) to $100 with a 2-year contract. This offer is for limited time only until March 23rd. The handset must be purchase at “in store only” and it requires a coupon. Original price of the Nexus S is $199.99 with 2-year T-Mobile contract and $529.99 is the full retail price. So that’s half price, $99.99 is a nice promotion.

“For a limited time, get a Nexus S from Google Smart Phone from T-Mobile for just $99.99 (everyday promotional price $199.99) with 2-year activation. In store only and requires a coupon,” the Best Buy retailer mentioned on its website.

Samsung-made Google Nexus S runs with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS on a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, sporting a 4” Super Clear LCD Contour Display, equipped with 5 Megapixels camera with 720p HD video recording capability, Bluetooth 2.1, micro USB , 16GB memory space, 512MB RAM, Wi-Fi, 3G connectivity, Android Market and the full host of Android & T-Mobile services and it is the first phone to feature NFC support.
