According to reliable sources, Apple do not expect to include 3G-capabilities in the iPad mini in order to produce it comparatively cheaply and to limit the top price of the product to keep the competition high with rivals such as Kindle or Nexus.
New reports suggest that Apple has ordered more than 10 million units for the fourth quarter of this year which is double times the order placed by Amazon for the same quarter for its Kindle Fire tablet. Apple’s huge order might point to a huge demand expectations.
