Well..well. Here you’ve it. RadioShack has already announced the release date of the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G handset and now the T-Mobile carrier also officially confirmed via its official Twitter account that the release date as April 20th. The new sidekick phone built by Samsung, comes with a price tag of $99.99 with a new two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
The Sidekick 4G is having a five-row QWERTY keyboard, “pop-tilt” display with dedicated function buttons (one of which is for managing multitasking, according to T-Mobile). It will also run on T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ network. T-Mobile Sidekick 4G run on Android 2.2 Froyo with a 1GHz A8 Hummingbird Processor, 3 MP rear camera, 3.5-inch WVGA display and with pre-loaded Samsung features like Samsung Media Hub, Qik video calling and DriveSmart, Group Text (for reply-all group text conversations) and Cloud Text (cross-platform texting service).
