ESPN has released its new WatchESPN app for iOS, which is now available for Free on the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices. This free app lets you to “stay connected to live sports and shows from ESPN, wherever and whenever you want them,” providing the content from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPN3.com to Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks, and Verizon FIOS TV.
iOS users need to provide their cable subscriber credentials before accessing the live-streaming ESPN content. ESPN says that an iPad optimized version slated for release in May and also launching this app on other tablets & smartphone in near future. So we can expect an Android version to launch soon by ESPN.

You can grab the WatchESPN app for iOS here at iTunes Store (hit the link) for Free. The iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch should be running on iOS 4.0 or higher. The app is weighing at 1.3MB of size.
