The latest rumor circling around the web is that Motorola is prepping two Tegra 3 quad-core chip equipped devices to launch in Q1 of 2012. The devices would be named as Motorola Bullet and Motorola Jet. Both these handsets will be powered by NVIDIA’s upcoming Tegra 3 (Kal-EI) Quad-Core processor.
According to Droid-Life, the Motorola Bullet is set to hit the markets with a 4.3 inches qHD display, 1GB DDR2 RAM (likely, 1.5GB), 16GB onboard storage, 12 megapixel photo snapper, and it would be shipped with NFC (Near Field Communication) feature.
Motorola Jet is also expected to have similar specs – 1GB or 1.5GB DDR2 RAM, 16GB onboard storage, 12 megapixel photo shooter, NFC, 4 inches qHD display and chicklet-style QWERTY keyboard. Of course, both the handsets will be having Tegra 3 quad-core chipsets inside and there may be a possibility that these beasts will be having 4G LTE capability too.
Anyhow, we still have to wait for the official announcements about the world’s first Tegra 3 quad-core devices by Motorola Mobility, which reportedly will hit the markets sometime in the first quarter of 2012.
