The second 4G LTE enabled handset from Verizon Wireless, the Samsung Droid Charge has been getting much response since it was launched last week and it is now gearing up for release on 28th April with a whopping price of $299.99 officially. But Amazon has already started offering the pre-orders for the Droid Charge and slashed $50 from the official pricing. You can buy it now for $249.99 by signing a two-year contract. Amazon has recently announced that it is giving away $25 Appstore Credits for those that buy any Verizon Android phone until May 1st.

Android Froyo powered Samsung Droid Charge is having a gorgeous 4.3 inch Super AMOLED screen, skinned with Samsung’s new TouchWiz UI. Beneath the display, lies a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8-megapixel camera with support for 720p HD video capture, Droid Charge has also got 4G LTE connection that can be shared with up to 10 Wi-Fi enabled devices (while connected to LTE), download speeds up to 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G Mobile Broadband coverage area, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0, 8GB of internal storage, Samsung Media Hub, and HDMI-out.
