Sony Ericsson’s first PlayStation certified Xperia Play handset was supposed to hit the U.S. soil in last month, but there hasn’t been much good news coming out about the Xperia Play, and to make things even worse, it was later delayed due to the tragic Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan as the production of the units has been affected.
But, leaked Verizon’s new online catalog is suggesting that the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play will be launching soon on Verizon Wireless in the U.S. The folks over Engadget have managed to get the same leaked screen shots, showing us that the upcoming Xperia Play phone was listed in the Phones Comparison page, marked with “coming soon” tag.
