We’ve been seeing the frequent leaks of the Motorola’s upcoming and unannounced Droid X2 and Droid 3 handsets. Both the Droid 3 and Droid X2 handset have appeared in the Best Buy’s system marked with the model numbers “XT862” and “MB870” respectively. This source is hinting us that we are just a matter of weeks away from the release of one of these phones.
Motorola Droid 3 is expected to have a 4-inch screen and it is having a front-facing camera. Both the Droid X2 and Droid 3 handsets may feature qHD displays with 960 x 540 pixels and runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
According to rumors, Motorola Droid X 2 is set to launch sometime this May. As the launch of the Motorola Droid Bionic has been delayed till this summer, we just get a feeling that Motorola may launch the Droid 3 handset in the meantime. We guess that these both handsets won’t be capable of 4G LTE.
