Back in January, at CES 2011 event, Samsung Infuse 4G handset has been officially launched and it is expected to be released by AT&T in Q2, but the carrier is yet to reveal an official launch date. But it looks like we are getting closer to its launch day.
Folks over Phandroid have managed to get a screenshot of a Costco coupon book, which is suggesting that the Samsung Infuse 4G might be released on 12th of this month, May. Costco is planning to offer a $30 off on the Infuse 4G’s subsidized price, so that you will be able to get it for around $150. Previously, we came to know about the Walmart’s $178.88 pricing of Samsung Infuse 4G.
Infuse 4G has already been approved by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and AT&T will probably announce the exact launch date of this handset in today’s AT&T/Samsung “Special Announcement” and apparently make the device available for purchase starting next week.
Samsung Infuse 4G features Android 2.2 skinned with TouchWiz 3.0 UI customizations, a 4.5 inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display, 8MP rear camera with 720p video recording, 1.3MP front-facing camera, and a 1.2GHz single-core processor.
