Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi Coming On June 8th; Priced At $399

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi only version will be coming to stores in the United States on June 8, 2011. The tablet will be powered by Android 3.0 HoneyComb and TouchWiz UX. Samsung will be offering the product directly to the consumers unlike the earlier Galaxy Tab launches, that was launched through all four major carriers in the US and Rogers in Canada.

And the price? Thanks to the launch and competitive price set by iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be priced from as low as $399 (without taxes).

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was initially launched at CTIA 2011 event. The tablet runs on Android OS 3.0 HoneyComb, 1 GHz dual-core processor, 10.1” WXGA display with 1280 x 800 resolution, 4G LTE/WiMax connectivity, 16/32/64 GB variants, 2-megapixels rear-camera with LED flash, 720p HD video recording capability, 1080p full HD video playback,DLNA support, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n powered by a 6860 mAh battery.

Apparently, a 16GB model of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi only version will cost just $399 (taxes excluded) instead of the $499 price that was making rounds.

Update: It is now on sale for $499 (16GB) and $599 (32GB).
