Samsung Infuse 4G Available For $149.99 At Amazon Now

Are you thinking to buy the AT&T’s first handset, the Samsung Infuse 4G, which is promising max speeds of 21Mbps (HSDPA Category 14) with both HSPA+ / HSUPA capability for a discounted price? Then you should immediately head over to  Amazon, where you can get a reasonable discount from AT&T’s original official pricing for Samsung Infuse 4G. A few days back, AT&T has announced that it would start selling the Infuse 4G for $199.99, starting from today, May 15th. But Amazon is now selling it for just $149.99, that means $50 cheaper than AT&T’s pricing.

Samsung Infuse 4G For AT&T

Samsung Infuse 4G will feature a 1.2GHz Hummingbird processor and a huge 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen (800 x 480 pixels), powered by Android 2.2 Froyo flavored with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, eight-megapixel camera at rear to record HD quality video at 720p, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, a-GPS, 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter for video chats, 16 GB internal memory, an included 2 GB micro-SD memory card, expandable memory up to 32GB with micro-SD card, 3.5mm audio jack, HDMI out, micro-USB port, Samsung Media Hub, U-verse Mobile, U-verse Live TV, AT&T’s pre-loaded JustUS app, pre-loaded special edition of Angry Birds, and 1750mAh battery.

This beast is measuring 8.9mm thickness (here you should consider 8.5mm thick Samsung Galaxy S II, which is on its way to release in the U.S.) AT&T says the Infuse 4G supports HSUPA Category 6, which should give us maximum rates of 5.76Mbps upload speeds.

  1. It’s good to see that U-verse has finally expanded their app to include Android phones. I really enjoy getting to take the TV I pay for with me wherever I am. Dish Network who I work for has been ahead of other providers in being able to provide true TV everywhere. With the Dish Remote app and the Sling Adapter I am able to stream live TV right to my phone or other mobile device. I don’t have to wait for shows to download because they come right from my receiver at home. It is really convenient to have TV at my fingertips with me in case I get bored.

  2. Samsung and at&t have loaded up the phone with bloatware and the mediahub app won’t allow HDMI output of DRM restricted content. This nullified much of the claims about 1080i output as much of the content you would want to put on TV can’t be.
