Samsung Hercules is a new T-Mobile’s high-end smartphone boasting powerful specs with a huge display, 42Mbps all the specifications for the customers looking for a high-end Android smartphone backed up by solid hardware.
Samsung Hercules runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm APQ8060 Dual-Core processor complimented with Adreno 220 GPU, sporting a bigger 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display with (480 x 800) pixel of WVGA resolution, equipped with an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, which can record 1080p HD video, and paired with a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat, 1GB on board memory, 16GB micro-SD card included, memory expandable up to 32GB. For connectivity, it is having Category 24 HSDPA capability to exceed the max speeds of 42Mbps downstream, Category 6 HSUPA support for 5.76Mbps upload speeds, T-Mobile’s 1700MHz band for 3G, plus AT&T’s 850MHz and 1900MHz bands, in case the merger goes through for support on AT&T’s “4G”.
Hercules has also got NFC support and MHL support, along with Android Market, and the whole host of Google & T-Mobile services.

Price & Availability
As of now, there is no official word about the launch date and price details of the Samsung Hercules smartphone yet. According to the T-Mobile’s 2011 Device Roadmap, Hercules is scheduled to hit the U.S. stores on September 25th.
