We’ve been seeing Motorola Droid 3 in earlier leaks where we saw some leaked images (1, 2) with QWERTY-slider keyboard and later it was seen at Best Buy inventory and then at NenaMark which showed that the phone will feature Texas (OMAP4430) dual-core 1GHz processor with PowerVR SGX540 GPU.
Thanks to a tipster, we have now got some new confirmed specs that the phone is going to sport. TechnoBuffalo has got some details about the features of Droid 3 by some tipster. According to the tipster, the phone will sport a 4-inch qHD display with a additional fifth row of keys dedicated to numbers (1 to 0) on part with the earlier leaked image (posted above). Also in the package are an 8 megapixel camera in the back paired with a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. Also confirmed is the presence of a dual-core processor (either NVIDIA Tegra 2 or Texas Instruments’ OMAP4430) and a dedicated HDMI-out port.
It’s not all! the tipster has also confirmed that the device is heading for June release on Verizon but sadly with no LTE support. That’s all we have got for now about the Droid 3 specs, anyway we’ll keep you posted about the Droid 3 details as they emerge.
