Sprint To Launch Nvidia Tegra 2 Powered Handsets

It has become a customary for any upcoming high-end smartphone to feature at least a dual-core processor inside it to keep up with the other high-end mobile phones in the market. That is why every carrier is bringing dual-core phones off late , but Sprint hasn’t yet launched any handset powered by Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core chipset. T-Mobile has recently launched Android powered T-Mobile G2X aka (LG Optimis 2X) with Nvidia Tegra 2 processor inside it, AT&T is having dual-core Nvidia equipped Motorola Atrix 4G handset, and Verizon’s latest addition Motorola Droid X2 is also having Nvidia Tegra 2 chip aboard.

Sprint customers must have been waiting for this processor equipped handset. According to some report from anonymous source received by AndroidandMe blog, Sprint will be launching a Nvidia Tegra 2 CPU powered handset and the carrier is readying the revamped version of AT&T branded Motorola Atrix 4G and changes would be – Sprint’s Moto Atrix 4G would be having 4.3 inches display screen instead of 4 inches on the AT&T variant, and it will be fixed with a kickstand on the back of the phone, just like HTC EVO 4G.
