When everyone though it was going to be launched in the first week of June, a leaked header from Sprint’s Playbook revealed that the device would be launched in the fourth week of June. Thanks to folks at Phandroid, we now have a most likely to-be-launch date for the HTC Evo 3D.
The device was supposed to be launched on June 4th but the newly leaked promotional flyer from Radioshack is suggesting June 24th to be the release date for this phone. Well, the recent bootloader policy change from HTC could have resulted in the delay. Radioshack along with Best Buy and Sprint will be offering silent pre-orders of the phone until June 24th and it would start shipping on the same day.
HTC Evo 3D will feature a 4.3-inch 3D glasses free 3D display, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera with 1080p HD video in 2D and 720P HD video recording in 3D, and 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, HTC Sense UI, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI port and microSD slot for memory expansion to to 32GB.
Unfortunately we don’t have any official information about the exact price details of the phone. As far as we know, the phone will cost $200 on a two-year contract with the carrier. You can also exchange your old HTC Evo 4G or Evo Shift 4G to get a $100 off on the price of Evo 3D.
