We’ve already reported that the Samsung Galaxy S II will be releasing in the U.S. on AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless networks with unique names.
According to trusted sources from Sprint, the carrier would soon be releasing the Samsung Galaxy S II as on the name of “Samsung Galaxy Within” at the end of late July. We are not yet sure if the Galaxy Within will be having Sprint’s fastest 4G WiMAX network support or not. The source hasn’t provided the details of exact release date and price info of the Sprint branded Galaxy S II. But a representative has hinted that the Samsung Galaxy Within might be releasing with a price tag of $350 before a mail-in-rebate program.
Samsung Galaxy S II will be hitting the AT&T networks on the name of Samsung Galaxy Attain, and the US’s largest 4G network provider Verizon Wireless will be outing the Galaxy S II as “Samsung Galaxy Function”.
Samsung Glaxy S II will be having a 4.27-inch 800 x 480 Super AMOLED Plus display, 8.49mm thickness, runs with Android 2.3 Gingerbread with TouchWiz 4.0, equipped with an 8 megapixel primary camera with LED flash with 1080p video capture support and an additional 2 megapixel webcam for video chats, 1.2GHz dual-core processor inside, 1GB RAM, 16GB/32GB memory storage, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, 1650mAh battery and much more.
