Sprint's Motorola XPRT Updated To Andorid 2.3.3 Gingerbread

A couple of days ago, Verizon branded Motorola Droid Pro has been updated to Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread OS, but what about its Sprint variant called Motorola XPRT, which is set to release on June 5th? Well here is a great news for Sprint customers who are much interested in this handset, initially this was supposed to release with the out-dated Froyo OS pre-installed. And now according to the folks over Android Spin, some unconfirmed Sprint sources have informed them that the Motorola XPRT was already updated to Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread with Motoblur just ahead of its launch date and will be releasing with the Gingerbread update.

Motorola XPRT is a rebranded Motorola Droid Pro for Sprint featuring enterprise-class security. It has a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display, 1GHZ processor with 512MB of RAM and 2GB of internal memory, micro-SD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, 3G Mobile Hotspot capability, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Li-Ion 1820mAh battery, Adobe Flash 10 support and more.

Price & Availability

The Motorola XPRT will be available to purchase from June 5th at all the Sprint stores in the U.S. with a price tag of $129.99 on a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement.
