RIM has officially unveiled the BlackBerry Bold handset in both GSM (‘BlackBerry Bold 9900’) and CDMA (‘BlackBerry Bold 9930’)editions. T-Mobile has officially confirmed that it will be bringing the BlackBerry Bold 9900 edition later this year. A fresh rumor has suggested that BB Bold 9900 will hit the markets around September month. A few hours ago, we’ve reported that Sprint is also gearing up to launch the BlackBerry Bold 9930 edition on August 21st, according to the leaked spreadsheet memos of Sprint.
Well, Verizon customers also will be rocking the BlackBerry Bold 9930 handset as revealed by a Google ad as “ Bold Touchscreen – Verizon Blackberry Bold is Ready to Run”. According to the screenshot (placed below), Verizon BlackBerry Bold 9930 is also set to release. Clicking on the Google ad will take you to a new page saying “The selection you made is unavailable at this time” redirecting to the official Verizon website, providing the customer care options. This source is enough for us to guess that Verizon must be releasing this handset later this year, although it’s still unclear whether it’d be in end of Q3 or early Q4.
BlackBerry Bold 9930 comes pre-installed with all new BlackBerry OS 7, powered by speedy1.2GHZ processor, boasting a 2.8″ TFT display, equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard, 720p HD video recording capable 5MP camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.1, boosted by 768MB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and scope for memory expansion up to 32GB via micro-SD slot.
