Vivid. Fast. Slim.. you know what we are talking about, none other than the Samsung Galaxy S II, touted as the one of the best Android smartphones available right now. The smartphone has already made its presence felt across the Europe, and now we are all eagerly waiting for its release in the USA and Canada. We have already reported that the Samsung Galaxy S 2 will be coming in different carrier-specific versions in the US. And we have seen a leaked picture of what could be the Samsung Galaxy S II Attain, the AT&T version of the mobile phone and also reported earlier that Sprint’s version of Galaxy S II, the Samsung Galaxy Within could be arriving in late July. But nothing has been confirmed as of now for the US release of the Galaxy S II. But the users of Canada can rejoice now as Samsung is now officially saying that Galaxy S II is indeed ‘Coming Soon’ to Canada.
Samsung has recently put up this huge banner (posted above) on its official website for Canada with a ‘Coming Soon!’ tag attached next to it, indicating that we’re not too far away from the phone’s official launch. However there’s no other information about the official launch and the release date. But counting on the Samsung’s earlier statement that it will be launching the SGS II in late Q2 or early Q3, we think that it could be happening less than a month or two. Stay tuned!
