HP has announced that its first ever webOS-powered tablet PC, the HP TouchPad (Wi-Fi only version) will be released officially on July 1st in the USA and few days later in the France, Germany, Ireland and the UK and Canada. It will also make its debut in other countries like Italy, Spain, Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore towards the end of 2011. The company has also announced that the pre-orders for the Wi-Fi only TouchPad will start from June 19th (for the USA and the Europe), which is less than a week away from now. Amazon however may not ship the tablet until July 17th, going by its ad that was spotted recently. Coming to the pricing, 16GB mode will cost you $499.99 while the 32GB model will set you back $599.99 (or £399 and £479 respectively).
HP TouchPad 3G Model For AT&T Coming Soon!
If you have been waiting for a 3G models of TouchPad, you will be pleased to know that, 3G model of TouchPad for AT&T will be coming ‘later this summer’, according to HP. However, there’s no word on the pricing of this model.
