LG and Sprint comes together with the announcement of upcoming availability of LG Optimus S. It is one of the first Android powered devices to offer the ultimate personalized experience with Sprint ID. LG Optimus S will also be the only Sprint ID phone to launch with Android 2.2 offering users hotspot functionality.
LG Optimus S features 3.2” HVGA capacitive touch display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, virtual Qwerty keyboard, Android 2.2 Froyo, 3.2 Megapixel camera with digital zoom & auto focus, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G/EVDO, USB 2.0, 600MHz processor with 512 MB RAM / 512MB ROM and an MSM7627 chipset.
And the LG Optimus S have the capability to act as a mobile Wi-Fi hot spot for up to five devices to share 3G. It also comes loaded with the Qualcomm Adreno 200 graphics engine which really helps the handset to perform well.
