A few days ago, the Big Red network has started pushing out an OTA update for the 4G LTE capable Samsung Droid Charge addressing the improvement of the 4G LTE connectivity along with few bug fixes. Now, Verizon Wireless has started rolling out another Over-The-Air (OTA) update, this time for the Galaxy S variant Samsung Fascinate smartphone. The update seems to be rather small and the owners of the Samsung Fascinate handsets will be seeing only two minor changes after installing this update. The latest OTA update for Samsung Fascinate is being treated as i500.ED04.
The new update for the Samsung Fascinate will improve the incoming call connectivity, and bring the improvements to how OTA’s are delivered to the device.
How to get the Software Update 1.13.605.7:
Keep your eyes on your Samsung Fascinate’s notification bar for the update notification or else you can check for the update and download it.
To install Over-the-Air update, Facinate users need to select “Menu” > “Settings” > “About Phone” > “Settings” > “System Updates” > and tap the “Check New” button –> Tap OK –> Installation should start now –> The handset will reboot –> Done. The update is weighing at the size of 97.8 MB.

Ever since the upgrade my battery life has been crap. But I noticed quite a few changes in my phone besides the two mentioned here. Obviously minor but it felt like a got a brand new phone for a while there. Pretty cool! But does anyone know how I can change some settings to reserve the battery life?
