Its June 19th today and the webOS fanatics can pre-order the HP’s first ever webOS powered tablet HP TouchPad starting today at HP, Best Buy stores and other retail chains. A few days ago, the manufacturer has announced about the June 19th pre-order availability and July 1st release date of HP TouchPad tablet. It looks like Canadians will be able to rock the HP TouchPad from July 15th, as Best Buy has mentioned on its website that “This product is scheduled to arrive in our warehouse on 07/15/2011”.
So how much would you pay for this device? HP TouchPad’s 16GB Wi-Fi version will cost you $519.99 and takers have to pay $619.99 for the 32GB Wi-Fi model. The U.S. based HP Stores website has still marked the HP TouchPad with “Coming Soon” tag, and customers aren’t able to pre-order the tablet yet. We’ve to see whether or not the HP TouchPad will give tough competition to the Android tablets like Motorola Xoom, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, the newly released Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and etc,.
HP’s AT&T branded TouchPad 3G variants will touchdown in U.S. later sometime this year.
